Get Organized! L.L.C. was originally founded as a professional organizing service by Becky Esker in 2001. Over the years, it has grown to so much more. Not only does Get Organized provide physical organizing services of homes and businesses but also interior
re-design and painting, and business coaching along with system and productivity management of businesses.
Get Organized provides service to those in the greater Cedar Rapids and Iowa City, Iowa area and those all over the world through its website. Get Organized will also travel anywhere nationally or internationally to provide hands-on services. Professional organizing and business success coaching is offered not only locally and
in-person but also virtually through e-mail and the telephone.
Owner and Founder, Becky Esker
Becky is a professional organizer, author, speaker and business success coach dedicated to helping people and businesses get organized, be more productive and more successful. Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paralegal Studies for Legal Assistants and minors in History and Political Science from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. With almost 20 years of organizing experience, Becky spent one successful decade in the corporate world working as a legal assistant and as a manager of an insurance department. Both of these positions required extensive paper and people management skills.
She has also attained experience from her numerous volunteer activities in the community having experience serving on Board of Directors for many non-profit organizations. Many of which she has served as President or Chairwoman.
Becky has a long proven track record of motivating and educating. In 2006 alone, she provided close to fifty seminars. She delivers seminars not only for non-profit organizations such as moms groups and social groups, but also for many for-profit corporations too. In addition to being a continuing education facilitator/instructor with Kirkwood Community College she has also been a regular workshop presenter at the Beyond Rubies women's conference.
Becky continues to fine tune her qualifications by actively participating in continuing education in the organizing and coaching arenas.
Organizing Specialist, Anita Van Dyke
Anita joined Get Organized in January 2006. Anita's background includes experience with the Liquidation Office of the FDIC in Houston , Texas and as a legal assistant in the Real Estate and Corporate practice divisions of a Houston law firm. Anita received a BBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Anita's detailed organization provides worlds of help to clients whether at home or in the office.
In addition to all the hands-on organizing and consultations Anita provides, she will team up with Becky in 2008 and form a Clutter Support Group in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area.
